The tower if built, would give the business district an additional kick into the modern world of skyscraper building but its not over-the-top zoomorphic. Its angular style fitting with other more modern towers such as Tour Phare which has an angular frame covered in a fluidic glass façade.
Standing at 160 metres, the tower rises from the street below to facades which resemble a cut diamond which seems to be an increasingly popular design of late.
Design features in the plan allow for the tower to exceed French regulations for environmentally sound and responsible development. The specification includes triple glazed curtain walls which incorporate sunshades that will respond to the solar orientation of each façade, unique grilles to aid in air circulation and reduce the need for air conditioning, a heat recovery system and solar water heating.
Green areas within the tower will also feature and possibly little luxuries for the office workers like gyms etc but its unlikely the rowing machines and exercise bikes will be wired up to generate electricity for the tower.
